The Kingsport Economic Development Board Has Approved A One Year Extension Of An Accountability Agreement For Eastman’s “Project Inspire”. Eastman Announced The Initiative In Mid 2013 To Invest 1.6 Billion And Add 300 New Jobs At The Kingsport Location. The Accountability Agreement Required Eastman To Create A Certain Number Of Jobs Within A Certain Amount Of Time. The Extension Comes In Light Of The Pandemic To Help Extend End Dates For Requirements.
