Time Is Running Out For Hawkins County’s Two Rescue Squads To Sign Their Radio Frequencies Over To The County. If Hawkins County And Church Hill Rescue Squads Fail To Do So, They Face The Possibility Of Being Excluded From The Forthcoming Emergency Radio System Replacement Project. The County Has 250-Thousand Dollars In Grant Funding To Help Cover A Portion Of The 425-Thousand Dollar Project. The County Must Own All Radio Frequencies That Will Be Covered By The Grant.
