An Advocacy Group Known As Interfaith Action For Human Rights Is Investigating Alleged Abuse Of Inmates By Staff At Two Virginia State Prisons Located In Wise County. The Allegations Include Racial Slurs, Coercion, Prolonged Segregation, Verbal Harassment, Beatings, Withholding Food, And Letting Medical Conditions Or Injuries Go Untreated. The Instances Allegedly Occurred At Both Red Onion And Wallens Ridge State Prisons.
