Better Access To Personal Protective Equipment Will Be Provided To Residents Of Russell County Thanks To A Pilot Program Partnership With The Virginia Department Of Emergency Management And The Health Equity Working Group. The Health Equity Pilot Program Was Announced Back In May By Governor Ralph Northam. It Provides PPE To Underserved And Historically Disadvantaged Communities Impacted By COVID-19. Russell County Will Receive 5,000 Masks And 5,000 Bottles Of Hand Sanitizer Through The Program.
