ALTHOUGH IT’S BEEN ALMOST A YEAR SINCE THE SUSPICIOUS DEATHER OF A DAMASCUS VIRGINIA MAN, WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S DETECTIVES ARE STILL SEARCHING FOR CLUES SURROUNDING HIS DEATH. ACCORDING TO SHERIFF FRED NEWMAN, JOHN GRAYBEAL WOLFE WAS LAST SEEN LEAVING THE FOOD CITY STORE IN DAMASCUS ON NOVEMBER 18TH, 2006. ON JANUARY 14TH, A GROUP OF KAYAKERS FOUND WOLFE’S BODY IN A RIVER. SHERIFF NEWMAN SAYS, BASED ON VARIOUS INFORMATION, THEY BELIEVE HE DIED AS THE RESULT OF FOUL PLAY. THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS OFFERING A SUBSTANTIAL REWARD LEADING TO THE ARREST AND CONVICTION OF THE PERSON OR PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAN’S DEATH.
