Sullivan County School Leaders Have Declined To Move Forward With An Idea Of Giving Each Classroom Teacher Five-Hundred Dollars To Spend On Classroom Supplies. The School System Had Considered The Idea Due To A 375-Thousand Dollar Surplus. The Majority Contended There Are Better Uses For The Funds To Be Considered, Such As A Rainy Day Fund Or Bonuses For Teachers.
