The Former Mayor Of Kingsport And A Tennessee Lawmaker Ruth Montgomery Has Passed Away. Montgomery Began Her Career In 1972 When She Was Elected To The Sullivan County Commission Where She Served For Eight Years Before Being Elected To The Tennessee House Of Representatives. Montgomery Went On To Become Mayor Of Kingsport Before She Retired From Public Service In 1999. She Was 92 Years Old.
