The Virginia Aviation Board Has Designated Over 7.1 Million Dollars For Projects At 11 Airports In The Commonwealth, Including Three In Southwest Virginia. Virginia Highland Airport Will Receive Over 490 Thousand Dollars For Taxi Lane And Roadway Pavement Improvements, Along With Over 340 Thousand Dollars For Land Acquisition To Extend Runways. Tazewell County Airport Will Receive 16 Thousand Dollars For Construction, And Mountain Empire Airport Will Receive Over Six Thousand Dollars For Camera Replacements.
