The Tennessee Comptroller’s Report Claims Members Received A Ten Dollar Gas Allowance Per Call Over A Three Year Period. It Also Claims Chief Steve Seal Was Authorized To Purchase Fuel For His Personal Vehicle To Conduct Fire Department Business. The Report Identifies Seven Deficiencies In Internal Control And Compliance Which Allowed Undocumented Purchases To Take Place. The Report Has Been Forwarded To The District Attorney General’s Office. Seal Has Since Resigned.
