Appalachian Power Has Asked The Virginia State Corporation Commission To Reduce The Fuel Rate For Virginia Customers. These Charges Make-Up Roughly 20-Percent Of A Residential Customer’S Electric Bill. The Proposed Change Would Save Nearly One Million Virginia Customers $3 For One-Thousand Kilowatt Hours Per Month. If Approved, The Reduction Will Go Into Effect In November.
