The Tennessee Valley Authority Announced Its Fall Fluctuation Plans For Boone Lake. The Lake Will Be Raised At A Rate Of Two Feet Per Week Starting In Mid-October, Weather Permitting. The Lake Levels Will Be Around Seven Feet Higher Than The Current Elevation. Raising The Levels Will Assist The TVA In Accessing Vegetation Inaccessible By Land. Residents Along The Lake Are Being Ask To Remove Docks Or Materials Below The Winter Elevation Of 1,364 By October 31st. TVA Plans To Tag Docks And Other Structures In Need Of Immediate Repairs With Laminated Posters And Orange Ribbons.
