The United States Department Of Agriculture Has Announced A 9 Million Dollar Grant To Help Bring High Speed Internet To Parts Of Southwest Virginia. The Grant Will Allow Scott County Telephone Cooperative To Connect Over 7,400 Homes, 400 Farms And Around 100 Businesses. Scott County Telephone Is Also Investing 3 Million Into The Deal Which Will Run Fiber From Dungannon To Duffield. Officials Said They Expect The Project To Take About Five Years.
