A Coronavirus Outbreak Has Hit The Sullivan County Jail Really Hard. More Than 200 Employees And Inmates Have Tested Positive For The Virus. According To The Health Department, 176 Of The Over 750 Inmates And 22 Of The Nearly 150 Employees Are Infected. Staffing Is Currently An Issue At The Lockup With 39 Employees Out Of Work. Employees Who Remain On The Job Are Working Overtime And Most Court Appearances Are Being Done Using Video Conferencing.
