According To The Kingsport Police Department, A Homeless Man Was Arrested After He Approached Them With A Baseball Bat. Officers Responded To A Call Sunday Morning And Found William Larkins Allegedly Creating A Loud Disturbance And Yelling At Residents In Nearby Homes. When Larkins Noticed The Officers He Raised The Bat Above His Head And Began Shouting At Them. Larkins Briefly Complied With Officers And Threw The Bat Down, But As They Approached He Became Belligerent. Police Eventually Placed Him In Handcuffs. Larkins Is Charged With Aggravated Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest And Possession Of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia. His Bond Is Set At 17 Thousand Dollars.
