The Lonesome Pine Airport In Wise, Virginia Will Soon Undergo Some Updates After Receiving Grant Funding From The Federal Aviation Administration. A Design Grant From The Cares Act Totaling 655-Thousand Dollars Will Be Used To Help Repair Part Of The Airport’S Runway. The Work Will Include Re-Paving, Replacement Of Runway Lighting And A Dedicated Electrical Vault. Design Work Will Take Place This Fall And Work Is Set To Begin Next Year.
