JOHNSON CITY AUTHORITIES HAVE ARRESTED A CITY MAN IN CONNECTION WITH A DISTURBANCE AT HIS RESIDENCE. POLICE ANSWERED A CALL TO TODD DRIVE WHERE THEY DISCOVERED 20 YEAR OLD ANDRE SCOTT MCKINNEY HAD ALLEGEDLY BROKEN OUT A WINDOW INSIDE THE HOME AND WAS USING A GLASS FRAGMENT AS A WEAPON. HE’S ACCUSED OF MAKING THREATS TO KILL ANOTHER PERSON INSIDE THE RESIDENCE. MCKINNEY IS CHARGED WITH ONE COUNT OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT. HE IS CURRENTLY BEING HELD IN THE WASHINGTON COUNTY DETENTION CENTER ON A 5-THOUSAND DOLLAR BOND. MCKINNEY IS SLATED TO BE ARRAIGNED ON THURSDAY IN GENERAL SESSIONS COURT.
