A Public Hearing Is Set For Today In Sullivan County Concerning A Planned Merger Of Two Water Utility Districts, That Serve Four Thousand Residents. This Involves Weaver Pike And Holston Utility Districts. These Are Among Seven In Sullivan County That Exist To Provide Water To Residents Outside City Service Areas. This Merger Would Create A New Utility District Called South Fork. County Mayor Richard Venable Will Head Up The Hearing Which Is Set For 3pm This Afternoon At The Old Courthouse.
