The Town Of Mount Carmel Has A New Mayor And A New Alderman. Town Leaders Accepted The Resignations Of Former Mayor Chris Jones And Former Alderman Carl Wolfe. Vice Mayor Jennifer Williams Was Sworn In As The New Mayor And Alderman Pat Stilwell Is The New Vice Mayor. Teresa Mawk And Garrett White Were Sworn In To Replace The Two Open Aldermen Positions. The Town Attorney Filed Petitions To Oust Jones And Wolfe, Accusing Them Of Official Misconduct. Jones Is Facing Multiple Criminal Charges.
