Work On The New James C. And Mary B. Martin Center For The Arts Center At East Tennessee State University Is On Schedule And Is Expected To Be Completed This Fall. Construction On The 52-Million Dollar State-Of-The-Art Performing Arts Center Began In September 2017. It Will Feature Professional-Grade Performing Arts Spaces For A Variety Of Music, Theater And Arts Events. The Facility Is Expected To Be Ready To Open By Mid-September. A First Death Is Being Reported In Smyth County.
