A HAWKINS COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTY AND A ROGERSVILLE POLICE OFFICER INVOLVED IN A WEEKEND SHOOTING INCIDENT THAT LEFT TWO PEOPLE INJURED, HAVE BEEN PLACED ON PAID ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE. THE INVESTIGATION REVEALED THE OFFICERS FIRED A TOTAL OF EIGHT SHOTS INTO THE VEHICLE. FORTENBERRY AND HIS 16 YEAR OLD FEMALE PASSENGER UNDERWENT SURGERY AT A LOCAL HOSPITAL WHERE THEY REMAIN IN STABLE CONDITION.
