Plans Are Underway For Brightridge To Construct A New 9-Megawatt Solar Farm Outside Jonesborough. It Would Be Located On Property Near Martin, Oak Hill, And Cherry Hill Roads. The Solar Power From The Farm Will Be Distributed To Schools, In An Effort To Reduce Operating Costs. Several Nearby Residents Don’t Appear To Be Happy With The Proposed Solar Farm And Feel It Will Devalue Their Property. Plans To Build The Farm Is Expected Next Year.
