Washington County Tennessee Leaders Are Facing A 2.6 Million Dollar Shortfall In The Upcoming Fiscal Year. As A Result, Mayor Joe Grandy And The County Budget Committee Have Asked That 5-Percent Be Cut From All Budget Requests In The New Fiscal Year. Now County Leaders Must Decide Whether To Raise Taxes Or Fees, Cut Personnel And Services Or A Combination Of The Two. The New Fiscal Year Begins on July 1St.
