A Pursuit Involving Three Different Agencies Has Landed A Chilhowie Man In Jail. 23 Year Old Taylor Wayne Trail Is Facing Several Charges Including Attempted Capital Murder Of A Police Officer. Deputies With The Washington County Virginia Sheriff’s Office Along With Officers From The Glade Springs Police Attempted To Deploy Stop Sticks During The Pursuit When Trail Swerved At Them And Tried To Hit Them. The Pursuit Ended Near The Smyth County Line After Virginia State Police Performed A Pit Maneuver. Trail Is Being Held In Jail Without Bond.
