Now, Southwest Virginia Can Be A Significant Player In The Craft Beverage Industry. Three Farmers In Lee And Scott Counties Have Participated In A Test Grow. They’re Expected To Yield 25-Hundred Bushels Of Grain At Harvest Next Month. Plans Are Also Underway To Build A Grain Processing Facility Here In Our Region That Will Be Operated By Mountain Empire Community College.
