The Supreme Court Of Tennessee Has Approved Sullivan County’S Plans To Resume Court Hearings. Jury Trials Will Remain Suspended Until July 3Rd. The State Is Encouraging The Use Of Video Hearings, Such As Zoom Or Facetime. Courtrooms Can Be Used For Dockets And In-Person Hearing With Physical Distancing Maintained And A Reduced Gallery Size Of 10 People, Including Attorneys. Attendees Will Have Their Temperatures Checked Before Entering And Are Encouraged To Wear Cloth Masks. Non-Emergency Hearings Will Be Staggered At The Discretion Of The Judge.
