A Multi-Million Dollar Federal Civil Rights Lawsuit Has Been Filed Against Law Enforcement Officials By The Mother Of A Man Who Was Shot And Killed In 2018 By Washington County Virginia Deputies In Glade Spring. The Suit Was Filed In U.S. District Court In Abingdon By Teresa Skeen, The Mother Of Phillip Gibson. Gibson Was Shot Following A Pursuit. The Family Claims They Requested Body Cam And Patrol Car Camera Footage Of The Shooting And Were Denied. A Court Date Has Not Yet Been Announced.
