Washington County Tennessee Ems And Carter County Rescue Squad Both Say The Number Of Medical Calls They’ve Been Answering Have Decreased During The Pandemic. The Decrease Is Attributed To Non-Elective Surgeries Being Closed, People Avoiding The Emergency Room Due To The Virus And Less Accidents Due To A Drop In Traffic On Roadways. Both Departments Are Now Preparing For Surges In Volume Once The Economy Is Opened Back Up.
