The Washington County Tennessee Health, Education And Welfare Committee Has Approved A Resolution To Reject Refugee Resettlement. Committee Chairman Danny Edens Said The Measure Doesn’T Seek To Change State Or Federal Refugee Laws, But Voices The County’S Opinion To The Governor And State Legislative Leaders, The County Does Not Accept Refugees. This Comes After Governor Bill Lee Made A Decision In December To Continue Accepting Refugees.
