A Former Baseball Coach At Volunteer High School In Church Hill Is Under Investigation By The Tennessee Comptroller Of The Treasury After He Allegedly Did Not Account For About 1600 Dollars For An Unauthorized Fundraiser. The Investigation Began After Hawkins County School Officials Found 420 Dollars In The Coach’s Desk After He Left The School System. The Former Coach Denied Any Knowledge Of The Fundraiser But Did Offer To Pay Off The Debt In Monthly Installments Of 20 Dollars.
