According To The Norton Virginia School Officials, Former J.I. Burton Football Coach And Teacher James Adams Is No Longer Employed With The School. This Follows A Board Vote To Fire Adams, Who Was Previously Suspended With Pay. The Virginia State Police Is Still Investigating Allegations From Former Female Students Of Inappropriate Comments And Behavior By Adams.
