A Public Meeting Will Be Held Tonight To Discuss Efforts To Have A Portion Of The Nolichucky River Designated As A ‘Wild And Scenic River’. The Unicoi County Rafting And Tourism Committee Says The Rare Designation Would Bring Tourism And Help With Preservation. This Has Been In The Works For Roughly 25 Years. The Meeting Will Take Place At Erwin Town Hall At 6 Pm.
