The Virginia Appalachian Tri-College Nursing Program Will Disband Later This Year. In May, Empire Community College, Southwest Virginia Community College And Virginia Community College Will All Begin Running Their Nursing Programs Independently. The Decentralization Is The Result Of A Growth In Enrollment And Improvements In Instructional Technology And Is Expected To Enable Each Of The Schools To Better Meet Growing Regional And National Demand For Nurses.
