Bristol Virginia City Leaders Have Approved 3-Million Dollars In State Funding To Replace The Oak Street Bridge. It Was Closed Permanently In 2018 Due To Its Deteriorating Condition. No State Funding Was Available At The Time To Remove The Bridge. Design Work Is Expected To Be Completed Later This Year. A Timeline For Construction Hasn’T Been Announced.
