Sullivan County Commissioners Will Be Discussing A Proposal This Evening Concerning Whether Or Not To Purchase Cell Phones For All 24 County Commissioners. This Would Cost Over A Thousand Dollars A Month. County Attorney Dan Street Brought The Suggestion To County Leaders Recently Claiming That By Commissioners Using Their Private Email Addresses Or Electronic Devices For County Business, They Are Considered Public. This Means They Are Subject To Requests From The Public To Review Such Communications. The Issue Will Be Discussed This Evening At 6pm.
