The Johnson City Development Authority Has Unveiled Plans To Transform The Historic John Sevier Center From Low-Income Housing To High-End Residential And Retail Space. The Authority Hopes To Hire A Developer Within The Coming Months To Build New Housing For The 150 Residents That Will Have To Be Relocated. The Project Is Expected To Cost Upwards Of 13-Million Dollars And Take Five Years To Complete.
