VIRGINIA INTERMONT COLLEGE OFFICIALS HAVE RECEIVED SOME GOOD NEWS THAT WILL HELP THEM DEAL WITH THEIR RECENT FINANCIAL PROBLEMS. ACCORDING TO SCHOOL PRESIDENT DR. MICHAEL PUGLISI, THE INSTITUTION WILL BENEFIT FROM A 400-THOUSAND DOLLAR GRANT FROM THE VIRGINIA TOBACCO INDEMNIFICATION AND COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION COMMISSION.
