The Elizabethton City Council Voted Unanimously To Move Ahead On The Plans To Expand And Renovate The Elizabethton Police Department. The Council Entered Into A Standard Form Agreement With Local Architectural Firm Reedy And Sykes To Provide Design And Construction Services To The City. The Plan Will Upgrade The Police Departments Current Building And Renovate The Former Richie’s Furniture Warehouse For Additional Office, Storage, And Training Space. The Cost Is Estimated At 120 Thousand Dollars.
