Kingsport Police Say One Person Is In Custody Following A Report This Morning Of Shots Fired. For Unknown Reasons, 45 Year Old Michael Byrd Fired Multiple Gunshots Either Inside Or In Close Proximity To A Small Apartment Building On Lovedale Drive. No One Was Injured In The Incident. The Man Held Police At Bay For Several Hours Before Being Taken Into Custody. He Has Been Taken To An Area Medical Facility For A Mental Status Evaluation. No Further Information Is Being Released At This Time.
