A New Report From The Reclaiming Appalachia Coalition Looks At Redeveloping Coal Sites In Southwest Virginia. Of The 19 Projects Listed, Nine Of Those Are In Virginia. Many Of These Programs Are Being Funded Through The Abandoned Mine Land Pilot Program. The Coalition Offers Technical Assistance To Government Entities And Community Groups With Planning Projects And Securing Necessary Funding.
