THE FORMER DAMASCUS VIRGINIA POLICE CHIEF WAS BACK IN COURT FOR A BOND HEARING. THE COMMONWEALTH ATTORNEY’S OFFICE ARGUED FOR RAISING BAIL FOR 40 YEAR OLD ANTHONY STEPHEN RICHARDSON WHO’S CHARGED WITH THREE COUNTS OF DISTRIBUTION OF A SCHEDULE ONE OR TWO CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO SELL, TWO COUNTS OF SELLING AND DISTRIBUTION OF DRUGS AND POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WHILE IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM. RICHARDSON HAD HIS CHARGES NOLIED EARLIER THIS MONTH AND SENT TO A GRAND JURY. THE JUDGE NOTED THAT SINCE SEVERAL CHARGES HAVE BEEN FILED AGAINST RICHARDSON, HE WAS RAISING RICHARDSON’S BOND TO 200-THOUSAND DOLLARS.
