A Hancock County Grand Jury Has Indicted A Former Corrections Officer Accused Of Bringing In Contraband Into The County Jail. Christopher Lyons Is Charged With Official Misconduct And Introduction Of A Telecommunications Device Into The Jail. The Tennessee Bureau Of Investigations Was Requested To Look Into The Matter Back In August. The Investigation Found That Lyons Allegedly Used His Position As A Corrections Officer To Bring Cellphones Into The Lockup To Give To Inmates In Exchange For Payment. Lyons’ Bond Is Set At 30-Thousand Dollars.
