The Virginia Department Of Criminal Justice Services Has Given The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office An 85-Thousand Dollar Grant To Add New Additions To Its Department. Sheriff Ray Foster Said The Grant Will Supply New Hard Body Armor, Gunshot Trauma And First Aid Kits, Along With Fire Extinguishers. The Sheriff’s Office Has Also Announced The Addition Of K-9 Officer Maxx.
