Ballad Officials Have Announced They Submitted An Application To Designate Lee County Hospital A Critical Access Hospital. The Designation Would Mean Cost Based Reimbursements Of Medicare And Medicaid Services. Virginia Will Consider The Application And Make A Recommendation To The Federal Government. Urgent Care Services Have Been Operating For A Few Weeks, Ballad Plans To Open The Full Hospital Next Fall.
