The Washington County Tennessee Commission Will Meet In A Special Session Tonight To Discuss And Take Action On The Jonesborough School Plan. The Town Of Jonesborough Plans To Build A New K-8 School And Then Lease It Back To The County Over A 20 Year Period. County Leaders Are Expected To Take A Vote And Discuss That Lease Option That Will Not Lead To Increased Taxes. The Meeting Is Set For Thursday At 6Pm.
