The New Director Of Sullivan County Schools David Cox Has Said The School System Is In Risk Of Temporarily Closing Due To A Lack Of Funding. He Said The System Hasn’t Received Over 800-Thousand Dollars In Funding From The County Which Means The General Purpose School Fund Has Dropped Below The Maintenance Of Effort Test. What This Means Is, If The Money Doesn’t Come From The County, Then The System Would Lose Over Four Million In State Funding Per Month. A Special Called Meeting Is Expected Soon.
