The Grand Jury Ruled That In All The Incidents, Guidelines For Use Of Force Were Followed. Kingsport Police Shot Andrew Witt Who Reportedly Ignored Commands To Drop A Knife, Then Charged At Officers With It Raised. He Has Recovered From His Injuries And Is Charged With Two Counts Of Aggravated Assault. He Remains In Jail. The Other Incident Involved A Sullivan County Sheriff’s Deputy Who Shot Terry Frost While Being Dragged By The SUV Frost Was Driving. The Officer Opened Fire And His Leg Was Run Over. On June 7th, Bristol Police Shot And Killed Jason Nash. He Was Shot During A Struggle With An Officer.
