Investigators With The National Transportation Safety Board Are On The Scene In Elizabethton Where The Plane Carrying Retired Nascar Driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. And His Family Along With Two Pilots, Crashed After Landing Yesterday. The Plane Caught Fire After Sliding Off The Roadway And Onto The Shoulder Of Highway 91. Dale Jr. And The Others Were Not Seriously Injured. He Will Not Be In The Broadcast Booth This Weekend Because He Wants To Spend Time With His Family. Heavy Equipment Has Been Brought In To Clean Up The Wreckage And It Could Take Several Months To Determine What Caused The Crash.
