Washington County Tennessee Prosecutors And The Owner Of An Exotic Pet Store In Johnson City Have Reached Agreement To Close The Store. 40 Year Old Corey Houser, Who Owns Village Pets On West Market Street, Was Charged In November 2017 With 35 Counts Of Animal Cruelty. Animal Control Acted On A Complaint And Found The Business To Be Extremely Filthy. The Agreement Reached Has Houser Closing The Business By September 24th, Paying Court Costs And Then The Charges Will Be Dismissed. He Will Never Be Able To Reopen A Pet Store In Washington County.
