Plans For A New State Park In Southwest Virginia Along The Clinch River Are Moving Along. The Virginia Department Of Conservation And Recreation Says They Have Purchased 230 Acres Of Land For The Clinch River State Park. This Is The First Anchor Property That Will Make Up The Park. According To The Nature Conservancy The Anchor Sites Will Likely Be Up To 600 Acres Each, And Offer Campgrounds, Trails, And Launch Areas For Canoes And Kayaks.
