A New Study Shows Making All Four Of Bristol Virginia’s Elementary Schools Safe, Accessible And Functional Over The Long Term Will Cost Just Over 11-Million Dollars. The Plans Include Improvements For Highland View, Stonewall Jackson, Washington-Lee And Van Pelt Elementary Schools. The Study Was Sought After City Council Last November Rejected School Board Pleas To Approve 37-Million Dollars Financing Plan To Construct A Consolidated Elementary School. School Leaders Will Use The Data To Discuss Ideas And Priorities Before Moving Forward With Making Any Finalized Decisions.
